Cybersecurity Built Around Your Business

Six service areas covering the full path from establishing where you stand to running a security program that keeps improving — plus controlled security testing under documented authorization.

Cybersecurity Assessments

Identify security gaps, understand their business impact, and receive a prioritized remediation plan rather than a generic vulnerability report.

Authorized testing

Authorized Security Testing

PhoenoSec performs controlled security assessments under documented authorization to identify exploitable weaknesses before attackers can take advantage of them.

Testing requires explicit written authorization. Every engagement begins with documented authorization from a party entitled to grant it, an agreed scope, a defined testing window and signed rules of engagement. PhoenoSec does not perform testing against systems a client does not own or control without the owner’s written permission.

Testing services

  • Internal security assessments
  • External attack-surface assessments
  • Web application security testing
  • Network security testing
  • Wireless security assessments
  • Configuration testing
  • Authentication testing

Scope

What a first engagement usually looks like

Most relationships start with a defined piece of work that establishes a shared picture of the environment. Where it goes next depends on what that finds.

Start with an assessment

If you do not have a current, independent picture of your security posture, that is almost always the right first engagement. It produces the roadmap everything else follows.

Start with a specific problem

A segmentation project, a cloud review, a compliance deadline or a monitoring programme that is not working. Scoped tightly, delivered against a plan.

Start with leadership

If the gap is decision-making rather than execution, a fractional leadership engagement establishes ownership, a roadmap and a reporting rhythm first.

How engagements work

A process built to end in decisions, not documents

Every PhoenoSec engagement follows the same four movements, scaled to the size of the work.

  1. 01

    Understand

Learn the organization, technology environment, business requirements, threats, and constraints.

Before anything is assessed, we establish what the business actually does, what would hurt most if it stopped, how the environment is built and operated, and what constraints — budget, uptime, staffing, contractual — any recommendation has to live within.

  2. 02

    Assess

Evaluate the relevant infrastructure, controls, architecture, processes, and security exposure.

Configuration review, architecture analysis, tooling output and, where authorized, hands-on testing. Findings are validated rather than reported raw, so your team is not spending its time filtering noise.

  3. 03

    Prioritize

Separate critical issues from lower-risk findings and create a practical remediation roadmap.

Every finding gets weighted by real exposure and business impact, then sequenced. Quick wins are separated from architectural work, and each item carries an effort estimate so the plan can be resourced honestly.

  4. 04

    Improve

Help implement, validate, and mature the organization's security program.

Recommendations are followed through: implementation support, validation that the change did what it was supposed to, and the governance needed to keep the improvement from eroding over the next two years.

Engagement models

Security Expertise That Fits Your Organization

Three ways to work with PhoenoSec, depending on whether you need a defined outcome, ongoing judgement, or someone accountable for the whole program.

Security Projects

Defined scope, defined outcome, defined end date.

A discrete security initiative with a clear deliverable — an assessment, an architecture design, a segmentation programme, a cloud review or a remediation effort. Scoped up front, delivered against a plan, closed out with documentation your team can operate from.

  • Security assessments
  • Architecture projects
  • Network segmentation
  • Cloud-security reviews
  • Security remediation

Best for: Clearly defined security initiatives with a known objective.

Fixed scope, quoted per engagement.

Security Advisory

Ongoing access to senior cybersecurity expertise.

A retained relationship for organizations that do not need a full-time security hire but regularly face decisions that deserve experienced judgement. A defined monthly allocation covers design reviews, risk questions, vendor evaluations and roadmap support.

  • Architecture reviews
  • Risk guidance
  • Security planning
  • Vendor evaluation
  • Security roadmap support

Best for: Teams that need expertise on call rather than a project.

Monthly retainer sized to your allocation.

Fractional Security Leadership

Strategic cybersecurity leadership without the cost of a full-time executive.

A virtual CISO engagement providing accountable security leadership: owning the roadmap, the risk register, the policy set, the budget case and the reporting line to executives and the board — at a fraction of the cost of the equivalent hire.

  • Security strategy
  • Security program development
  • Executive reporting
  • Risk management
  • Security budgeting
  • Compliance planning

Best for: Organizations that need an owner for security decisions.

Monthly engagement, scaled to program scope.

Custom engagements based on scope and complexity.
